Most of you all screamed out Oh No! but Times Magazine was screaming out Oh Yes!

The Mag has named the infamous frock as the fashion statement of the year, and with that they were quoted saying: 'If making fashion statements is your primary raison d'etre its easy to get bored.Exploding bra? Flamed out. Dress made of bubbles? Please. Using your hair as a bow? Not again. But dress made of meat- with shoes, hat and purse to match- well that's fresh"

Your very own wizards of waverly places star, Selena Gomez has released a spring collection of her clothing line "Dream out loud"..she tweeted earlier last week while doing a shoot for the collection in Malibu: 'Look so cute'.I don't know about you but I'm really not impressed with it, more like bored maybe because the look has been mastered by other brands before..I guess Selena should leave the multi-tasking to Miley Cyrus.

Jennifer to release new line

Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc anthony have been rumoured and now confirned by many sources to be working with Kohls, a very successful department store, to come out with a new clothing line and home decor. The range will be sold nation wide (America) at any Kohls store and online for us non-americans. The line will be very affordable and will cater to all kinds of people. Who ever thought miss Jenny from the block would take fashion to mandatory heights? Well aren't we happy she did.. /:

Gisele to work with Balenciaga

Top Brazilian Model, Gisele Bundchen recently turned 30 and with that came a lot of perks..the now wife of nfl player, Tom Brady, and mother of 11- month old Benjamin,has been asked to be the face of Balenciaga, a tres successful and well established spanish fashion house in the world, She will be representing their first 2011 collection. The campaign has already been photographed in NYC by Steve Meisel. Gisele will be replacing Stella Tennant, Freja Beha Erichsen and Karen elson and will also be working alongside now pregnat Miranda Kerr. Who ever said Life starts at 4O was definitely not from our time.

Diggy simmons' chivalrous culture

Yes besides loving Diggy Simmons and being obsessed with what he is doing to the music industry..I have fallen inlove with his very own sneaker line: Chivalrous culture and not only because the name is genius in its own right but also because from the creative inner solos to the beautiful finishings,the shoes are simply HOT, .

I came across these masterpiece while reading his blog digslifeofthejetsetter.blogspot.com which I must add is very insightful and fashion foward all at the same time. The shoes are currently on sale for $90 (R629.15), they are however made strictly for the youth which is really sad for the men who are now adults.I don't know about you but if I were of the opposite gender I would definitely rock these as a friend of mine said; they are very neat but they do seem to resemble Supras..They also are quite the exclusive pairs of shoes which wreaks because i mean it would really be awesome if they could descend upon africa, dont you think?

Rihanna is such a 10

It was after watching Rachel Zoe's reality show, where I spotted a luminous yellow ruffle dress that I remember so vividly worn by Rihanna at the BET awards 2 years ago when I realised that I had to compile my 10 favourite outfits sighted on her.

To set things off number 1 has to obviously be the yellow Giambattista Valli gown she sported at the BET awards in 2008:

I don't know about you but whenever I look at this dress I'm sent to a reverie filled with pure blissfulness cause not only did she look radiant, she looked like a breath of fresh air. This outfit will forever be immensely unforgettable.

Number 2:

This Elie Saab gown seems as though it was designed then sewed with specifically Rihanna in mind, it fitted her so well by accentuating all her right body features and the colour was just beautiful. I also fell in love with how a rock edge that is evident in the emphasized shoulders was infused with class and so brilliantly achieved.

Number 3:

She is wearing Chanel head to knee, and sexy Christian loubuotin pointed nose pumps, shall I say more about this? It's elegance at its best and I can't seem to wrap my head around how she got this so right, I'm speechless. Well I can at least say that from the teal woven pencil skirt to the white strapless bustier corset, I could just die of envy.

Number 4:

I love love L°O°V°E the deep pink of the skirt and how it has so much volume but doesn't in anyway make her look fat, I say this is GENIUS. Then there is that metallic top with the emphasized shoulders which screams Rihanna and the gladiator platform heels which exude fashion..Uhmm I'm also guessing that this is Balenciaga. To end this off I'd like to say Merçi Louis Vuitton et Je t'aime!©

Number 5:

Don't you love this as much as I do, probably a little more? I love the bold military jacket by Cristophe Decarnin, the lace bustier which adds a sexy flare to the outfit and the draped harem trousers which makes this outfit look comfortably chic which I must add can be very difficult to achieve.

Number 6:

Obviously this is not your usual outfit and this is what separates Riri from other fashionistas, the fact that she is always taking risks that entail transparent dresses to bold shoulder pads. I love the Statement Givenchy velvet jacket that she has paired up with the tight fitting zip up LBD and the mount Everest high ankle boots. This is edgy but still simple.

Number 7:

Who can make construction glasses look so fabulous? Obviously only Rihanna. Those thigh high leather boots paired up with the grey mini dress by Hussein Chalayan; which I must add looks like she picked it up from some trendy galactic planet; are insane! Very inspiring outfit.

Number 8:

I'm mainly mesmerised with the colour and her impeccable body. The body suit is also looks very futuristic but in a good way and the emphasis on the shoulder? Great 80's comeback through Rihanna. And looking at that attitude and the confidences radiating off her face I can say that this was a great clothing choice.

Number 9:

Have you ever seen anything more innovative?? this is so avant garde... I really adore anything that is oriental and those cut out floral shapes just scream oriental so I was sold from that. And i also love the white coming through the platinum black and the structure of the dress is just dumb-founding. Those shoes also receive my dear appreciation.

Number 10:

This was chosen on biased terms those being my love for Balmain and Michael Jackson. I did however love that she paired the military jacket with the white shorts. It made the outfit look fresh, and clean but still fashionably chic.

Where do i begin?...*Takes a deep breath*... Am i allowed to call this movie a disaster far beyond that of Haiti? I must say i have never ever felt as disappointed as i was after watching half of Sex and the city 2, and believe me the half i watched was excruciating. the non-existent plot lacked the verve that we were all so used to, it was just a total bore.the fashion was a let down too can someone please give Patricia Field (Stylist) a fine, her fashion arrangements were illegal, they have to be! Carrie our favourite fashionista looked like a homeless soul wrapped in linen sheets ,wearing louboutins and most of the time she was whiney which was so unnecessary. Samantha was a horny 80 year old who dressed like a 3 year old and Miranda and Charlotte were kind of not there just like Mr.Big but in all fairness the men were quite yum. To conclude i can say sequals should be avoided and they shouldn't make a third of this movie.
